FABS is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and/or CBT to join our team of dedicated and caring professionals, to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with Autism and related Pervasive Developmental Disorders in a clinic, and/or home-based setting under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Position Description

  • The RBT/CBT provides direct 1:1 ABA therapy services to clients with autism spectrum disorder or other related developmental disabilities, under the guidance of a BCBA. The RBT delivers services in clients homes or clinic setting. The RBT will be responsible for implementing treatment plans, collecting data, maintaining clinical notes, attending client-related staffing meetings, and following all procedures in compliance with FABS treatment protocols. Additional program management responsibilities may be assigned by the BCBA.
  • The RBT/CBT will be required to work with individuals who engage in challenging-behavior, which may include, but are not limited to; aggression, self-injurious behavior, property destruction, elopement, or tantrums.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Certified Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable source of transportation and a valid drivers license
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain relationships
  • Able to work in a variety of environments including home, community and clinic setting
  • Be able to manage high stress situations

Preferred Qualifications but Not Required to Apply:

  • 2-3 years of clinical experience in a position that utilizes ABA
  • CPR, BLS certified
  • Washington State CBT
  • Licensed RBT with the BACB
