While there is some flexibility in choosing shifts, maintaining consistency for your assigned clients is important. Communication with supervisors and families is key to balancing your availability and ensuring client progress.

What are part-time RBTs?

Part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are professionals who provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services to clients, usually children with autism or other developmental disorders, on a part-time basis. They work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and assist with implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data, and supporting clients in developing new skills. Part-time RBTs typically work flexible hours, which may include evenings or weekends, making the role suitable for students or individuals seeking supplemental income. Their responsibilities and required qualifications are the same as full-time RBTs, but with fewer weekly hours.
