Job description

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: We are looking for dependable and hardworking individual to join our environmental team at Sadie G. Mays Health and Rehab. Atlanta, GA. The purpose of this position is to perform duties in accordance with established organizational policies and procedures to provide a safe environment. This is achieved by demonstrating the principles of cleaning, disinfection, and quality assurance toward the reduction of harmful pathogens for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff.

Shift Schedule: Full-time (36 hours), Part-time (24 hours), or PRN (3 Shifts per Month)

Daily Pay: Offered through Payactiv

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide basic nursing care to patients and residents within the scope of nursing assistant responsibilities. The CNA will perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment
  • Ensure call lights are within reach of residents and respond promptly to call lights
  • Report all changes in residents’ condition to supervisor as soon as possible
  • Position residents appropriately for meals, serve meal trays, and assist with feeding as needed per individual plan of care
  • Complete all required documentation prior to the end of each shift
