Senior Marketing Project Manager
Our client is seeking a Senior Marketing Project Manager who brings structure, strategic thinking, and strong cross-functional leadership to complex marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive and adaptable problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity, anticipate challenges, influence stakeholders, and keep multiple campaigns moving toward successful outcomes.

This role is a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon.

Senior Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent marketing projects from planning through delivery, managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, and key deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-channel campaigns across digital, social, email, events, public relations, and other marketing functions while aligning teams around priorities and objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues and bottlenecks, manage changes, and escalate concerns appropriately to maintain project momentum.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable project plans, facilitate decision-making, and communicate progress, priorities, and trade-offs.
  • Monitor project performance, maintain accurate documentation and reporting, and drive improvements to project management processes, delivery consistency, and overall effectiveness.

Senior Marketing Project Manager Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of project management experience with demonstrated success leading multiple complex, simultaneous projects; marketing or campaign-related experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing campaign lifecycle, including planning, creative development, production, launch, measurement, and cross-channel coordination.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate challenging conversations effectively.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively through ambiguity.
  • Bachelors degree in business, technology, or a related field preferred; project management certification and experience with process improvement or change management are also preferred.
  • Prior utilities experience is preferred.
