Overview
The temporary Club Supervisor is responsible for leading the successful opening and operational launch of the Naismith Club. This role partners closely with operational leadership and project stakeholders to execute all pre-opening activities, ensuring the venue is fully prepared for opening day. The Club Supervisor oversees team readiness, training, operational execution, and cross-functional coordination while maintaining high standards of guest service and operational excellence. This role is expected to last through 10/01/2026 but may be shorter/longer as deemed necessary.
This role pays an hourly rate of $32.00
This is a temporary role that will start August 7, 2026, and will end on October 1, 2026
This position will remain open until October 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with operational leadership and project stakeholders to develop and execute the overall opening plan.
  • Coordinate and oversee all pre-opening activities to ensure operational readiness.
  • Identify opening priorities and proactively resolve issues that may impact launch timelines.
  • Ensure alignment and communication across Front of House (FOH), Back of House (BOH), Membership, and other operational departments.
  • Lead and execute the pre-opening training program, ensuring all team members are prepared to deliver exceptional service.
  • Ensure operational standards, policies, and service expectations are consistently followed.
  • Monitor labor and operating expenses while working within the approved project budget.
  • Collaborate with culinary, operations, human resources, and venue leadership to ensure a seamless opening.
  • Coach and mentor the permanent team upon hire to ensure a smooth operational transition.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor during training, rehearsals, and opening events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful opening of the venue.

Qualifications
  • 2-3+ years of progressive food and beverage management experience.
  • Previous experience leading restaurants, social clubs, convention centers, or hospitality openings strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume food and beverage operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through change in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with staffing, scheduling, labor management, and operational budgeting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
