MUST HAVE CLEAN MVR AND HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION!

REQUIREMENTS FOR SECURITY OFFICER:
  • MUST HAVE VALID IDENTIFICATION
  • MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER
    • OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR SECURITY OFFICER:
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN ALLWEATHER CLIMATES SUCH AS BUT NOT LIMITED TO: RAIN, EXTREME COLD/HEAT
  • MAINTAIN A PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE AT ALL TIMES
  • PASS ALL PREEMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND SCREENING
  • ABILITY TO OPERATE A RADIO
  • ABILITY TO INTERACT CORDIALLY AND COMMUNICATE WITH THE PUBLIC
  • EFFECTIVE ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS. ACTIVE
    • LISTENING SKILLS. ABILITY TO ASSESS AND EVALUATE SITUATIONSABILITY TO IDENTIFY CRITICAL ISSUES QUICKLY AND ACCURATELLY.ATTENTION TO DETAILJOB DUTIES FOR SECURITY:
  • WATCH FOR IRREGULAR OR UNUSUAL CONDITIONS THAT MAY CREATE SECURITY CONCERNS OR SAFETY HAZARDS. SOUNDS ALARMS OR CALL THE POLICE OR FIRE DEPARTMENT IN CASE OF FIRE OR PRESENCE OF UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS
  • WARN VIOLATORS OF RULE INFRACTIONS, SUCH AS LOITERING, SMOKING, OR CARRYING FORBIDDEN ARTICLES
  • OBSERVE DEPARTING PERSONNEL TO PROTECT AGAINST THEFT OF COMPANY PROPERTY AND ENSURE THAT AUTHORIZED REMOVAL OF PROPERTY IS CONDUCTED WITHIN APPROPRIATE CLIENT REQUIREMENTS. INVESTIGATE AND PREPARE REPORTS ON ACCIDENTS, INCIDENTS, AND SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES
  • PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO RESIDENTS, STAFF AND VISTORS IN A COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER. OBSERVE REPORT AND BE VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES
  • PATROL AND MAINTAIN SECURITY OF CLIENT PROPERTY AND STAFF ON FOOT OR IN VEHICLE. STANDING AND WALING FOR EXTENDED PERIODS MAY BE REQUIRED AT SOME POST
