Job description

Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician - Paid RBT Training

Starting Pay: $23.00 per hour
Location: Branson, MO
Schedule: Part-time, evening/after-school hours starting around 3:00 PM
Training: Paid training provided
Certification: RBT certification sponsorship available

The Arc of the Ozarks is hiring a part-time Behavior Technician to support individuals with disabilities through our ABA Services program in Branson, MO.

This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with clients after school and in the evening to help them build skills, increase independence, and work toward individualized goals. You will be part of a clinical team and receive supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working directly with people, is dependable, and is interested in gaining experience in ABA, autism services, behavioral health, special education, psychology, social work, or human services.

Current RBT certification is helpful, but not required. We are willing to sponsor certification and provide paid training for the right candidate.

Please note: This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Candidates must have availability for evening/after-school hours starting around 3:00 PM. Some weekday daytime availability may be needed during initial training.

What you’ll do

As a Behavior Technician, you will help implement behavior support plans, skill-building programs, and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a BCBA. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Working directly with clients during after-school and evening programming
  • Supporting communication, social, daily living, and independence skills
  • Following individualized behavior support plans and treatment goals
  • Collecting data on client progress and behaviors
  • Helping maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment
  • Participating in team communication and supervision
  • Completing required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Using positive, person-centered strategies to support client success
What we’re looking for

Minimum requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral needs, psychiatric disorders, autism, ABA, direct support, childcare, special education, or a related human services setting
  • Availability for part-time evening/after-school hours starting around 3:00 PM
  • Willingness to complete required training and pursue RBT certification
  • Dependability, patience, strong communication, and attention to detail

Preferred, but not required:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician certification
  • Experience in ABA, autism services, behavioral health, special education, childcare, or direct support
  • Bachelor’s degree or coursework in psychology, social work, education, human services, or a related field
