Job Summary
To teach courses in the School of Arts and Sciences on campus (preferred), online, and hybrid modalities in the following disciplines:
  1. Mathematics
  2. Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)

Highly interested in candidates that are available to instruct courses on campus, weekdays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
Applicants desiring to teach any undergraduate degree-level courses in Mathematics or the Sciences, must have earned a minimum of 18 graduate level semester hours or 30 graduate level quarter hours in the respective discipline or related field from an accredited college or university. The college is building a repository of qualified part-time faculty for the School of Arts and Sciences.
Proposed Salary
Pay for this position is via course. The rate is $700 a credit hour

  • Ability to teach classes and lecture; grade papers, conduct research, and create quizzes and assignments
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty efficiently and satisfactorily.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication, listening, and organizational skills.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and relevant business application software packages.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
  • Able to use small office equipment, including copy machines or multi-line telephone systems.
  • Be able to use computers for data entry, word processing and/or purposes.
