Job description

MacMore is looking to fill a part-time position for an Experienced Technical eDiscovery Specialist for a pending contract award at the Farm Credit Administration.
Location:
Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, with primary concentration at the FCA headquarters office in McLean, Virginia
Technical eDiscovery Specialist
Technical eDiscovery Specialist shall perform the following support activities:
  • Implement approved procedures such as administering legal holds and conducting collections.
  • Assist designated technical staff with tool configuration and integration, as applicable. Document tool configuration and implementation steps.
  • Conduct validation testing to ensure changes operate effectively and securely.
  • Provide general operations support for FCA's eDiscovery program area.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in forensic data collection and preservation
  • Experience in data processing
  • Experience in legal hold and custodian management
  • Experience with Enterprise Data Systems (M365, Windows, Mobile Devices)
  • Experience administering systems that deal with sensitive data
  • Experience working in federal or highly regulated environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of recent experience (education may not be substituted for experience) that includes:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an eDiscovery Technical eDiscovery Specialist
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an eDiscovery Technical Analyst
  • Established experience administering, configuring, tuning and troubleshooting eDiscovery tools and documenting technical procedures.
  • Experience in administering legal tech tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Purview and Relativity.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) standards
  • Proficient in technical writing and documentation
  • Experience in data governance, retention and data systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview and related Microsoft 365 compliance tools
  • Experience with legal hold, preservation, and data-collection best practices
  • Experience in information security, access control and auditing practices
  • Familiar with federal government procurement process and requirements
