Adjunct Faculty - Computer Engineering

Regent University's College of Arts & Sciences is seeking an adjunct faculty member to join the Engineering & Computer Science Department. Candidates with an earned master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with a focus in computer hardware, cybersecurity, machine learning, or artificial intelligence may be considered. An earned PhD in one of the aforementioned areas of focus is preferred. Prior college teaching experience preferred in addition to proficiency with online instructional technology. Candidates will be expected to teach courses at all levels online.
In addition, the department is seeking a candidate who has demonstrated skills in leadership, teaching excellence, professional engagement, and English communication. They must be able to work independently and accomplish tasks based on knowledge, experience, and expertise within established principles. The candidate must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should demonstrate a willingness to carry out highly detailed work to completion.
Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 3) familiarity with online instructional technology; and 4) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
