Description of Duties
Title: Part Time Stylist
Classification: Non-Exempt
Hourly Range*: $24.00/hour
Location: 384 Bleecker Street, New York, NY
Working Hours: Mon - Sun 11AM - 6PM
DÔEN is looking for a dynamic and experienced Stylist to join our growing team in West Village located on Bleecker ST. The Stylist will be primarily responsible for engaging and connecting with our customers and speaking authentically about our product and company. The job description below is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
Sales and Client Development
  • Deliver a personalized client experience by leading with exceptional service on the sales floor, greeting customers in a timely and engaging manner, and providing styling advice that reflects the brand's aesthetic using product knowledge.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual and store sales goals
  • Drive business growth and meet sales goals as an individual and as part of the store team, by addressing customer needs and preferences.
  • Build and maintain a book of business through building client relationships

Store Operations and Standards
  • Arrive on time and be floor ready with a professional presence in line with the Dôen brand, and respond promptly to internal and external communication.
  • Maintain visual standards on a daily basis, while supporting a visually enticing store and backstock that is neat, clean, and organized.
  • Interface with the store team in a manner that promotes learning, respect and a positive work environment.
  • Understand and follow employee handbook and company guidelines including but not limited to core values, dress code guidelines and customer service guidelines.
  • Protect store assets and inventory.
  • Abide by company policies.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a fashion retail environment. Luxury retail preferred
  • Energetic, confident and adaptable personality, with critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
  • Technological competency and computer literacy; experience with Shopify desired.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to move through a store for most of a shift to help customers and accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Efficiently and accurately process sales transactions using the POS register system.
  • Verbal and written communication with others.
  • Able to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones.
  • Must be able to access various areas of a given location and lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25lbs minimum including fixtures and product.

* Compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
