Position Summary Information
Duties
The Athens State University Spirit Store is seeking part-time temporary workers, up to 19 hours per week as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist customers with purchases of school-branded merchandise and gifts.
  • Operate the cash register. Restock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
  • Provide friendly, helpful service to students, faculty, alumni, and campus visitors.
  • Support and assist during special campus events or sales. Assist students and provide support for book related materials.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • High School diploma or its equivalent required.
  • Must be available to work early morning and evening hours
  • Must have a willingness to learn or prior experience in preparing and serving coffee.
  • Friendly with excellent customer service
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization
  • Passionate about coffee

QUALICATIONS PREFERRED:
  • Coffee experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred but not required

Salary Schedule
Wage minimum $15.00 per hour. No benefits, temporary, part-time as needed
