What is a parttime asset protection job?

Part-time asset protection jobs involve working to prevent theft, fraud, and loss within a retail or corporate environment, but on a part-time schedule. These roles typically include monitoring surveillance systems, conducting security checks, investigating incidents, and collaborating with management to improve safety protocols. Employees in this position work fewer hours than full-time staff, making it ideal for students or those needing flexible schedules. The main goal is to protect company assets while ensuring a safe environment for customers and employees.

To thrive as a Part-Time Asset Protection Associate, you need a keen eye for detail, basic knowledge of security protocols, and often a high school diploma or equivalent.
