RBM OF ATLANTAย PARTS WAREHOUSE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Transport needed parts from upper and lower warehouses.
  • Notify appropriate parties when special order parts arrive.
  • Update and locate parts bin locations for new parts.
  • Maintain up-to-date parts inventory count sheets.
  • Return parts as needed and remove from inventory after credit is received.
  • Return cores, damaged/mis-packaged parts to manufacturer.
  • Assist in bi-monthly parts returns.
  • Keep parts area clean and uncluttered.
  • Assist in the scrapping and returning of warranty parts.
  • Assist in pulling and shipping of all orders.
  • Proactively communicate potential issues with Management and other department employees in order to provide the best possible customer experience and ensure that we order and provide the correct parts in order to fix cars right the first time.
  • Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior to being employed, applicants for employment must participate in RBMโ€™s normal screening process which includes: completing a full employment application; satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable); in-person interviews and other inquiries.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role is preferred.
  • All applicants must have a current and valid driverโ€™s license, a clean driving record, and must be insurable.
  • Basic communication and problem solving skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills using American units of measure.
  • Physical demands include: constantly position body and move in order to handle packages, inventory, and complete job duties; drive golf cart or parts delivery vehicles,ย  detect and identify safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 100lbs occasionally, 65lbs frequently, 25lbs constantly); operate tools and equipment; repetitive motion.
  • Work is conducted inside, outside, and in a shop environment in proximity to moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, with exposure to chemicals, and moderate to loud noise levels.
