Job description

Parts Delivery Driver

As a well know Carrier Refrigeration, Volvo, and Hino dealership, we have 15 locations throughout Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin and Tennessee. We are looking for a positive, hard-working individual to join our team at our Justice, IL location.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare orders and get parts ready for delivery
  • Deliver parts to customers
  • Load and unload parts inventory shipments
  • Complete vehicle safety checks before each delivery
  • Assist customers with any questions they may have
  • Provide invoices to customers and collect payment
  • Observe and report customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion
  • Work with the Parts Manager on account management, including distribution of invoices, cash handling and the processing of returns
  • Responsible for maintenance, cleanliness, appearance and the safe operation of company-owned delivery vehicles
  • Assist the Shipping and Receiving department in keeping the parts area clean, organized and stocked
  • Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping information
  • Other duties as assigned
