What is a parts associate?

A Parts Associate is a professional responsible for managing, organizing, and distributing automotive or machinery parts within a dealership, warehouse, or service center. Their duties often include assisting customers and technicians in finding the correct parts, maintaining inventory records, processing orders, and ensuring that parts are properly stocked. Parts Associates play a crucial role in keeping service operations running smoothly by ensuring parts are available when needed. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities are key for this position.

How does a parts associate typically collaborate with service technicians and other departments?
