Job description

Job Title:HR Business Partner Intern

Job Schedule:9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off. 

Job Description: 

  • Have a strong understanding and knowledge of business analytics to enable and influence leaders to make sound talent decisions and promote employee engagement and healthy/positive/productive employee relations 

  • Partner with client groups to build and execute upon talent plans in achievement of overall business strategy, objectives and goals 

  • Identify and diagnose issues proactively and develop, recommend and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience and business results in a timely manner 

  • Participate and/or lead projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assigned 

  • Promote high professional standards, positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrates L3Harris core values 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resource or related field. 

Preferred Additional Skills: 

  • Some experience with Performance Management, Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation, Diversity, and Organizational/Management Development 

  • Ability to link situations to the bigger picture; ability to identify root cause and underlying issues 

  • Efficiency in MS Office software products like Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment 

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $20.50 - $41.00. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $18.00 -$36.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
