Job description

The Opportunity

HealthEZ is looking for individuals who will advocate internally and externally on behalf of our client employers, their employees and families, and our broker partners. Candidates will have a strong focus on responsive, effective communication, fostering and developing strong relationships with these external and internal stakeholders, partnering with the sales team to cultivate new business as well as upsells on renewals. Relationships and Partnerships are at the core of what we do at HealthEZ. In this role you will leverage analytics and our reporting platform to identify key trends, make consulting recommendations based on data and couple that with an understanding of client strategy around their health plan and HEZ product offerings. You will work collaboratively with internal and external teams to advocate for clients and oversee resolution of client requests, communicate status, and facilitate across all impacted parties. What you'll do 

  • Bring energy, organization, and experience to collaborate with teams across the organization 

  • Meet regularly as required with client, broker, and channel partners to foster and build strong effective relationships with strong service to anchor HEZ 

  • Leverage relationship management skills to better understand and influence employer clients, de-escalate issues, and retain and grow the business through retention, upsells and product recommendations and placement 

  • Deeply understand clients’ needs to assess product upsells and vendor changes 

  • Partner alongside the Implementation Project Manager during the client onboarding to ensure a high quality, no surprise experience for new clients understanding the ‘hand off’ is at the start of the installment of the group plan. 

  • Understand and identify trends in client medical and pharmacy spend with support from risk management and analytics teams and effectively communicating that to client and broker verbally and via presentations 

  • Lead reporting calls as required based on client size and requirements communicating key information impactful to the client’s understanding of plan performance 

  • Report and present on valuable metrics to clients and brokers, assisting them in making plan design decisions clearly and effectively 

  • Understand and communicate the company’s mission and vision regarding simplification, demonstrate an obsession for lowering the employer’s costs while creating a better healthcare experience for consumers 

  • Maintain an awareness of the Revenue teams annual goals and focus for both clients and brokers i.e. expanding relationships, finalist presentations, revenue goals, etc. 

  • Work with the product and sales team to increase revenue through additional products such as telemedicine, pharmacy programs, and wellness services– upsells as noted 

  • Collaborate with third party vendors to get results for clients and brokers working with internal teams to track and complete installation and service reporting  

  • Partner with the product team to understand various services and solutions that can be leveraged to provide a better consumer or employer experience. detailed feedback is critical to maximizing the HEZ product service offerings 

  • Provide clients with clear timelines for renewal activities to ensure deadlines are met based on segment guidelines and goals 

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of healthcare experience with an insurance company, nonprofit health plan or PBM.

  • TPA experience strongly preferred 

  • Medical and pharmacy analytics experience 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Relationship management experience 

  • Enthusiasm and an ability to learn and retain information 

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 

  • Exceptional organizational skills 

  • Ability to Travel (up to 30%)

Additional Opportunity Details:

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $90,000-$110,000*
