Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to support our marketing team with a strong focus on social media outreach, influencer collaborations, and campaign coordination. The Marketing Intern will work closely with the marketing and commercialization teams to identify potential influencers and partners, conduct outreach across social media platforms, coordinate collaborations, and help manage ongoing influencer relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable communicating with external partners, highly organized, and interested in social media trends, brand storytelling, and community engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential influencers, creators, and brand partners across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Conduct outbound outreach via social media, email, and other communication channels to initiate potential collaborations.
  • Assist in the coordination, scheduling, and execution of influencer and social media collaborations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for influencers and collaborators, helping manage timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain organized records of outreach efforts, communications, contracts, content status, and performance metrics.
  • Support the development of influencer briefs, collaboration guidelines, and content requirements.
  • Assist with tracking campaign performance, engagement metrics, and overall collaboration ROI.
  • Monitor social media platforms for trends, competitor activity, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team members on campaign planning, content coordination, and brand messaging.
  • Provide administrative and project support for broader marketing initiatives as needed.

Education and Experience
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, media studies, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in social media marketing, influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and current social media trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships with external partners.
  • Prior internship, campus organization, content creation, or social media experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:
The estimated base compensation range for this position is $20 an hour at the time of posting.
