Job description

Chase Auto is seeking a Senior Associate to help shape the internal narrative for one of the nation’s leading auto finance businesses. You’ll help to inspire and motivate our teams by driving compelling executive communications and internal editorial content.

As a Communications Senior Associate within Auto communications team, your focus will be on building and executing internal communications plans with measurable outcomes and managing channels and tactics. You will find and tell human-centered stories that make Auto Finance simple and relevant. You should be intellectually curious and passionate to learn more about Chase Auto and its three strategic business units: Retail & Consumer, Private Label Captive Finance and Commercial Solutions.

Job responsibilities
  • Support multiple senior executives with communications needs, including executive messages, presentations, town halls, organizational announcements, speaking engagements and LinkedIn content to connect with their teams and advance business goals.
  • Create and execute strategic communications plans, managing the supporting tactics, channels and editorial calendars—including broadcast and targeted email, intranet, newsletters, Microsoft Teams communities, executive presentations, video and social media—and using measurement, employee feedback and testing to improve performance.
  • Seek out and write interesting and compelling stories with a human connection, including stories that elevate Auto’s business, leaders, employees and partnerships across CCB and firmwide channels.
  • Partner with internal/external partners to lead innovation, new ideas and better ways of communicating.
  • Stay current on emerging communications methods, techniques and technologies, including AI-enabled tools, and identify opportunities to work more simply, efficiently and effectively.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 5+ years of internal, corporate and/or executive communications experience, including extensive; BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related degree hands-on writing, editing, project management and presentation building, in technology or financial services
  • Demonstrated success developing executive-level messages, providing communications counsel to senior management teams, and executing strong communications strategies
  • Experience working with C-suite executives
  • Organized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines
  • A creative, innovative and strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with, teams, internal stakeholders and senior leaders
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with executives, peers and other functional groups across the company
  • Strong ability to translate complex concepts and deliver them into clear, concise and engaging communications
  • Travel is expected 10% of the time
  • Finalists for this role will be required to complete a written test to verify strategic thinking, writing, editing and proofreading skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Experience in digital journalism, social media, digital content is desirable.
  • Experience with Intranet design, content development, and collaboration and measurement tools
  • Experience with tools like Monday.com, Canva, Sharepoint
