Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Xray Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures to assist in GI and Urology procedures and Surgeries .

Duties

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Utilize medical imaging equipment effectively while maintaining a sterile environment and following aseptic techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and provide necessary information for accurate diagnostic evaluation.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning during scans to obtain optimal images while minimizing discomfort.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing professional development.

Experience

  • Proven experience in medical imaging or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in GI and Urology cases is preferred
  • Ability to operate various imaging equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to established protocols.
