Job description

Independent Caregiver Registry Opportunities

Tinala's Home Care Registry

Compensation: Client opportunities typically range from $18.00-28.00 per hour, depending on the client's needs, schedule, and level of care required.

Build Your Independent Caregiving Business with Tinala's Home Care Registry

Tinala's Home Care Registry is seeking experienced, compassionate independent caregivers to become part of our growing caregiver registry serving families throughout Southern California.

We are a California home care registry, not a home care agency. Our role is to connect clients seeking non-medical in-home care services with qualified independent caregivers. Caregivers accepted into the registry operate as independent contractors (1099) and retain the ability to determine which client opportunities they wish to accept.

If you are passionate about helping others maintain their independence while providing compassionate care, we invite you to apply for registry consideration.

Client Opportunities May Include

Client requests may include services such as the following:

  • Companionship and social engagement

  • Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

  • Mobility and transfer assistance

  • Meal preparation

  • Medication reminders (non-medical)

  • Light housekeeping

  • Laundry and linen changes

  • Transportation to appointments or errands (when applicable)

  • Respite care for family caregivers

  • Alzheimer's and dementia support

  • Safety supervision

  • Overnight or hourly companion care

  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Each client's needs vary, and caregivers may choose the opportunities that best match their experience, availability, and preferences.

Desired Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Experience providing non-medical caregiving services

  • Home Care Aide (HCA) registration with the California Department of Social Services (or willingness to obtain registration if eligible)

  • Current CPR certification (preferred)

  • Current TB clearance (preferred)

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (when transportation services are offered)

  • Professional references

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and reliable care

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Experience working with clients experiencing dementia, Alzheimer's disease, mobility limitations, developmental disabilities, hospice support, or other specialized care needs is welcomed.

Registry Consideration

Qualified applicants may be asked to provide documentation, including the following:

  • Government-issued identification

  • Home Care Aide registration information or application status

  • Background screening documentation (when applicable)

  • TB clearance

  • CPR certification (if available)

  • Auto insurance (if transportation services are offered)

  • Professional references

  • Additional documentation necessary for registry participation

Tinala's Home Care Registry may also conduct pre-screening as part of the registry approval process.

Independent Contractor Relationship

This opportunity is for independent caregivers seeking placement opportunities through a California home care registry.

Acceptance into the registry does not create an employment relationship with Tinala's Home Care Registry. Caregivers accepted into the registry are independent contractors responsible for operating their own caregiving services, maintaining required credentials, complying with applicable laws, and determining whether to accept available client referrals.

Apply Today

If you are an experienced caregiver who values flexibility and the ability to provide exceptional in-home care, we would love to hear from you.
