Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Build responsive and adaptive web UIs leveraging contemporary technologies and design trends
  • Translate user flows and user experience mock-ups into code
  • Build products using cutting-edge HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Build and enhance supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, and the existing development team
  • Present and prototype new ideas; and regularly look for areas of improvement within existing   applications



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, graphic design, or related field
  • 2+ years or demonstrable strong understanding of HTML5, CSS and JQuery
  • 2+ years of experience server-side development using PHP and MySQL
  • 2+ years' experience using front end frameworks (i.e. Angular JS, Bootstrap, W3.CSS, JQuery UI)
  • Firm understanding of visual design concepts (graphics, marketing, typography, layout, etc.)
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Solid understanding of imaging software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator 
  • Strong desire to move projects forward and be proactive
  • Familiarity with content management systems, such as SharePoint or WordPress 
Additional Information

BTG is located in Washington, DC with project offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic States. This is a part -time - 6 month contract position located in Washington, DC with partial virtual capacity. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to working in a management consulting and/or client focused environment.
