Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse directs and supervises other licensed staff and non-professional nursing personnel in providing excellent patient care. The Registered Nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the objectives of the hospital.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Previous clinical nursing experience.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse. American Heart Association BLS required.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

Demonstrated leadership ability and critical thinking skills required. Excellent communication skills. Computer skills.
