Part Time I Third Shift
Emergency Dept. I Lexington, KY
An Emergency department (ED) that provides 24-hour emergency care to patients who need urgent medical attention for severe injuries or illness.
Description RN-ED:
  • Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
  • Assessment of patients' needs.
  • Development of patient care plan/s
  • Provision of direct care.
  • Management of patient care delivery.
  • Demonstrate of leadership skills.
  • Support for quality care.
  • Customer relations and healing environment.

Requirements RN-ED:
  • Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
  • Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
  • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
  • ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
