Job description

JMK medical Clinic, Inc. is looking for a full- time and/or part- time well trained family practice Nurse Practitioner to fill opening(s) in our practice. Recent graduates are welcome to apply for this position.

The candidate will provide health care for patients in our clinic in accordance with general policies and standards of practice, as established by the clinic and licensing board. The candidate will deliver care appropriate for a health clinic with a multicultural population. Candidates will diagnose illness, provide treatment and prescribe medication, encourage and support patients through relationship building education and counseling that can progress patients to their optimum health status.

Essential Responsibilities:

·         Collect subjective data (obtain patient history)

·         Collect objective data (perform a physical exam)

·         Develop an assessment (diagnosis)

·         Develop and implement a management plan

·         Order pharmacological interventions

·         Develop and implement an educational plan

·         Plan for an appropriate follow up care

Maintain privacy and confidentiality of information, acting with ethics and integrity, report non- compliance and adhere to applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licensing requirements.
