POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reports directly to the store manager and owners. This position is responsible for keeping the store clean, performing water testing, fill pool additive jugs, and helping with customer needs.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma preferred. Previous retail and/or pool supply experience preferred. Will train. Excellent customer service skills required. Must be 18 years of age.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Perform water balance testing, as needed, for customers.
Answer phones.
Help customers with purchases, carrying purchases to the car.
Ensure store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, keep furniture, displays and counter area clean.
Vacuum carpeted areas daily/ Mop floors daily.
Breakdown cardboard boxes.
Dump trash.
Stock acid.
Fill jugs/carry to customer car.
Sales Associate
Clean windows daily.
Report supply shortage.
May perform minor repairs.
Any other duties, as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. The position requires constant walking, bending and lifting. Ability to answer phones and perform functions on a computer necessary when interacting with customers and or the corporate office.
