Position Overview: RN - Operating Room, Part-Time Weekend Shifts with Sign-On Bonus

*Work schedule includes every Saturday and Sunday, with two 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.

We offer a range of sophisticated outpatient and inpatient surgical services, featuring advanced technologies such as robotic surgery and an endovascular hybrid suite. Our services include:

  • Outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures
  • Comprehensive endoscopy services
  • High-volume endovascular surgeries, including TCAR and EVAR
  • Three Intuitive Da Vinci robots for surgical procedures
  • Mako robotic surgery for total knee replacements
  • State-of-the-art laparoscopic surgery with Stryker SPY-PHU 4K fluorescence capability
  • Advanced minimally invasive neurosurgery utilizing Stealth technology
  • Robotic urology surgeries
  • High-volume orthopedic surgeries, including total joint replacements
  • Operating Room Extern Program – Periop 101
  • ICU-level PACU services
Key Responsibilities:

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Adhering to the organization's policies and procedures while demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
  • Maintaining high standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
Essential Duties:
  • Conducting patient assessments, including gathering data on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
  • Evaluating the developmental stage of patients during assessments, treatments, and education for patients and families.
  • Organizing patient information to create a care plan, identifying additional information needed, and making informed care decisions based on patient needs.
  • Implementing the care plan to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Providing care tailored to the specific setting, identified needs, and care plan, ensuring appropriateness based on the severity of conditions.
  • Supervising the activities of ancillary and support team members.
  • Identifying educational opportunities and supplying necessary resources to meet patients' educational goals.
  • Communicating any issues or concerns to the Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or physician as necessary.
  • Documenting patient care and concerns accurately in patient records.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Required:
Completion of a nursing program.

Minimum Experience Required:
New graduates of a nursing program are welcome to apply.

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law:
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC multistate license. BLS certification is mandatory.

Additional Qualifications:
Advanced certification in a specialty area is preferred. A bachelor's degree is also preferred. Experience in a hospital setting is advantageous.
