Clinical Registered Dietitian - Part-Time Hybrid Opportunity Company: RD Nutrition Consultants LLC Overview RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition services for a Critical Access Hospital and Long-Term Care facility located in Mississippi. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian seeking a flexible, part-time position that combines onsite patient care with remote clinical responsibilities. Position Details Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital & Long-Term Care Location: Mississippi Schedule: 8-12 hours per week Work Model: Approximately 50-60% remote Flexibility: Choose your own days and hours.

Only 1-2 onsite visits per month are required, with the remaining responsibilities completed remotely. Compensation: $32.00-$38.00 per hour, based on experience Travel Reimbursement: Paid travel time at your hourly rate, plus mileage reimbursement Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for acute care and long-term care patients/residents. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans

Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling as appropriate. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Complete timely documentation within the electronic medical record.

Monitor patients and residents for changes in nutritional status and recommend appropriate interventions. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including CMS standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Review and provide recommendations regarding menus and nutrition-related policies as appropriate. Perform additional nutrition-related duties within the Registered Dietitian scope of practice. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.

Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Current Mississippi dietitian licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure). Minimum of one year of clinical nutrition experience preferred.

Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. Ability to independently prioritize workload and manage a flexible schedule. Experience with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

Knowledge of state survey processes and regulatory compliance preferred.
