Stoneleigh-Burnham School, an independent girls’ boarding and day school for grades 7-12, seeks a weekends only, part-time Barn Crew member.

Located in the Pioneer Valley, a short drive from the Five College Consortium (UMass Amherst, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire and Amherst College), Stoneleigh-Burnham School is the only girls’ school in New England to offer the IB Diploma Programme and attracts students from the local area and around the world.  Our mission centers around helping our students discover and use their authentic voices. Position Details:

  • Part-time

  • Weekends only

  • Perform daily barn chores, including but not limited to feeding, turning horses out, mucking, sweeping, etc. 

Qualifications:
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds 

  • Be comfortable working a fast-paced environment

  • Some horse experience is preferred, but we will train the right person

  • Tractor driving experience is a plus! 

  • Good people skills and a positive attitude

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • CORI and SORI check required

Compensation:
  • $17.00 per hour
