Part-Time Behavioral Support Professional

Are you an experienced behavioral professional who enjoys helping people reach their full potential? We're looking for a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Behavioral Support Professional to join an established team supporting an engaging young adult with autism.
This is more than a direct support position—it's an opportunity to use your ABA knowledge to help someone build independence, develop new skills, and enjoy a full and active life at home and in the community.
Position Details
  • Part-Time Weekend Position
  • Flexible 6-hour shifts (not every weekend)
  • $28.00–$35.00 per hour, based on education and experience
What You'll Do
  • Implement Positive Behavior Support and ABA strategies.
  • Support community outings, recreation, and meaningful activities.
  • Teach and reinforce communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Assist with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of 11 professionals to provide consistent, high-quality support.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has experience using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Supports.
  • Has worked with individuals with autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Can confidently follow behavior support plans and respond calmly to challenging behaviors.
  • Is engaging, patient, reliable, and enjoys building positive relationships.
  • Has a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
  • Can safely support an adult male with physical and behavioral needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or training in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • RBT, TSS, NADD, or other behavioral health certifications are welcomed.
  • Experience with alternative communication systems such as PECS or AAC is a plus.
