Job description

Truck Driver - CDL
Department: New Truck
Employment Type: Part Time
Location: Milwaukee
Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 / hour
Description
Pick-up and deliver medium and heavy-duty trucks. This is a part-time, on-call position.
Responsibilities
  • Pick up and deliver trucks between Lakeside locations in safe and timely manner; additional locations may include customer locations, body companies or repair facilities
  • Unload and load vehicles as needed
  • Communication with the Driver Central Coordinator regarding daily schedule and vehicle conditions
  • Fueling trucks
  • Driving trucks to and from weight stations and weighing trucks as requested
  • Completion of Daily Driver's Log detailing daily activities and Truck Movement Forms
  • Inspect, fuel, and clean driver central fleet vehicles as necessary
  • Assist Badgerland Idealease, Body Shop, Service, and Parts Departments as needed
  • Special Assignments as directed by the Driver Central Coordinator, Used Truck Manager, or New Truck Manager.

Special Assignments may include, but are not limited to: Clean Service Bays, Empty all waste and metal containers, Restock restrooms with supplies, Clean and salt service entrances and front entrances of building, assisting in the set-up/take-down of events
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent plus special technical training are desired
  • Must have current valid CDL - Class A Mandatory
  • No Auto Trans Restriction Preferred
  • Interstate Fed Med Card
  • Driving record must meet company liability insurance company standards
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis
