Description
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include mowing of trees, greens fairways, roughs and site maintenance. Repair and programming of golf course irrigation systems and familiarity with turf fertility and diseases desired. Supervision of other part-time employees will be required in absence of full-time employees. May extend work through winter months for snow removal. Work involves working outside in all weather conditions. Evening and weekend work may be required.
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:
Some experience in retail sales or customer service is desirable. Knowledge of golf helpful.
EDUCATION:
High School graduate or equivalent.
SPECIAL SKILLS & TRAINING:
Must be at least 18 years old. A minimum of two years' experience in golf course maintenance required. Experience with all types of golf course maintenance equipment and golf course irrigation required. Must have a valid Michigan Driver's license with good driving record. Michigan Pesticide Applicator license desired. Good customer service skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and complete basic written reports required.
START DATE & WORK SCHEDULE:

Up to 40 hours per week, variable schedules - days, evenings, and weekends.
