Job Description

Westborn Market is seeking a dependable, professional Wedding and Special Events Driver to support floral weddings, corporate events, and other special event installations. This position will be responsible for safely transporting floral arrangements, décor, equipment, and supplies to and from event locations. The position will involve heavy lifting, loading and unloading, transporting floral pieces and equipment, event setup, and occasional evening teardowns.

This will be a part time position averaging approximately 10 hours per week, primarily on weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a commercial van and box van
  • Load, transport, and unload floral arrangements, décor, equipment, and event supplies
  • Assist with wedding and special event setups
  • Assist with occasional evening teardowns and pickups
  • Handle floral pieces and equipment carefully to prevent damage
  • Follow delivery schedules and event timelines
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Westborn Market positively at event locations
  • Assist the floral team with additional event-related duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Comfortable and experienced driving a commercial van and box van

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and safely move large floral pieces and equipment

• Availability on weekends and for occasional evening teardowns

• Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to follow detailed instructions

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Hours:

Additional hours may be available in the floral department for candidates who are interested in working a larger weekly schedule. Floral experience is helpful but not required.
