Brand & Marketing Manager

 Part-Time Consultant with Opportunity for Full-Time Employment

Work Location: Hybrid, with regular in-person work at our Austin, Texas office

Position Overview

Buildlabs Texas is a high-end custom home building company committed to craftsmanship, innovation, sustainability, and our philosophy of Building Beyond. We are seeking an experienced, creative, and results-driven Brand & Marketing Manager to guide our marketing efforts and strengthen the Buildlabs brand across all company locations.
Based in Austin, Texas, this individual will work closely with company leadership and team members in Austin, New York, North Carolina, Germany, and other locations. The position requires someone who can think strategically while also taking a hands-on approach to developing content, managing campaigns, coordinating projects, and ensuring that marketing initiatives are completed accurately and on schedule.
Opportunity for Growth: This position will initially begin as an hourly consulting engagement of approximately 15–25 hours per week. Based on the individual’s performance, the continued development of the role, and the evolving needs of the company, there may be an opportunity for the position to transition into full-time employment.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that support company-wide business development and growth objectives
  • Maintain consistent brand positioning, messaging, visual standards, and communication across all Buildlabs locations
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, advertising, and experiential channels
  • Manage and update the company’s website, social media platforms, marketing materials, presentations, and other brand-related content
  • Develop engaging written and visual content that reflects the quality, innovation, and capabilities of Buildlabs
  • Collaborate with leadership and teams across multiple locations to identify marketing needs, gather project information, and promote company initiatives
  • Support business development, lead generation, client outreach, and client acquisition efforts
  • Coordinate photography, video, project features, employee profiles, events, and other promotional initiatives
  • Manage outside vendors, consultants, and marketing resources as needed
  • Assist in developing and monitoring marketing budgets
  • Track campaign performance, website activity, engagement, lead generation, and return on investment
  • Prepare regular reports and recommendations regarding marketing performance and opportunities
  • Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy
  • Ensure that all marketing deliverables are completed on time and remain aligned with company goals
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred
  • Three to Five years of progressive marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing marketing strategies and managing campaigns from planning through completion
  • Strong writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and digital marketing tools
  • Ability to create or coordinate high-quality marketing content and materials
  • Experience tracking marketing performance and using data to guide recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and teams in multiple locations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with content management, graphic design, customer relationship management, analytics, or project management platforms preferred
  • Experience in construction, architecture, real estate, luxury brands, or design-related industries is a plus

Work Requirements

  • Must be located in or within commuting distance of Austin, Texas
  • Must be available for regular in-person work at the Austin office, with limited remote work as appropriate
