Part-Time Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility

Part-Time Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility - $21.16/hour | Plus a $400 sign-on bonus!

Schedule:

Saturday - Monday: 7 am - 3 pm

Saturday - Sunday: 3 pm - 11 pm

Monday - Friday: 2 pm - 6 pm

Job Summary: USI is seeking high level security officers for our pharmaceutical site. Job duties may include performing security patrols of designated areas by foot. Observing for any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards. Maintaining access control of premises and monitoring entrances and exits. Security officers provide a high level of customer service and assistance to clients, client employees and visitors in a polite and professional manner.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Two years of military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred
  • MUST have hospital or concierge security experience
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to Speak clearly and concisely
  • Ability to keep a neat and organized workstation
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to conduct foot patrols frequently

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Visitor management to include identification verification & badge issuance and ensure that unauthorized persons do not gain access to the premises.
  • Security patrols by foot and/or vehicle
  • Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches, following established protocols.
  • Completion of daily security reports, incident reports and security logs.
  • Safety protocol enforcement.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or required by contract.

Skill Requirements:

  • Experience with CCURE or Genetec highly preferred
  • Must be proficient in basic computer operations and common software applications.
  • Position requires excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Must have experience in providing detailed incident reports.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to be a team player and work in a team environment.
  • Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Must be able to multi-task and self-manage in a fast-pace, dynamic environment.
