Job description

Salary: Based on Experience

The Warehouse Crew Member / Driver is responsible for supporting event production through warehouse operations, loading and unloading inventory, transporting equipment, and assisting with on-site installations. This role is ahands-on, physical position that combines warehouse work, event setup, and driving company trucks (Penske-style box trucks no CDL required).


WHAT YOULL ACTUALLY BE DOING

  • Load and unload event inventory (furniture, walls, dcor, fabrication pieces)
  • Drive company box trucks to and from event sites
  • Assist with event installs and breakdowns on-site
  • Prep, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Operations

  • Pull and stage inventory for upcoming events
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse areas
  • Assist with wrapping, labeling, and prepping outbound items
  • Return, inspect, and restock inventory after events


Driving & Transportation

  • Drive company trucks (Penske-style box trucks no CDL required)
  • Transport inventory to and from venues safely and on time
  • Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after routes
  • Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies
  • Communicate any vehicle or delivery issues immediately


Event Installation & Strike

  • Assist with setup and breakdown of event installations
  • Install dcor, walls, signage, and rental items per event plan
  • Work efficiently as part of a crew on-site
  • Ensure all items are handled with care to avoid damage


GENERAL EXPECTATIONS

  • Arrive on time and ready to work
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Communicate professionally with team members, clients, and vendors
  • Take direction well and stay productive throughout shifts
  • Be flexible with schedule based on event needs


(Must be available for early mornings, late nights, and occasional weekends based on events)


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving box trucks (Penske-style or similar)
  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
  • Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Warehouse, moving, or event production experience
  • Experience loading trucks and securing inventory properly
  • Familiarity with basic tools and installation work
  • Experience working on event setups or production crews
