ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world's greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. Since then, for 80 years, across 100 countries, World Relief has partnered with local churches and communities to build a world where families thrive and communities flourish.
Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will assist the position of Immigration and Legal Services (ILS) Program Director of World Relief Quad Cities Immigration Legal Services which serves immigrant community in the Quad Cities and beyond including education and outreach.
This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until 9/30/27 and contingent upon funding extension.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate all correspondence from USCIS and WRQC ILS Department to clients, including reminder phone calls to clients for their appointments and required documentation
  • Assist in file organization, mailing applications and immigration packages
  • Schedule client appointments and administer reminder phone calls when needed
  • Upon completion of required training, prepare all immigration forms, request checks and send in finalized documents
  • Follow up on all USCIS requests
  • Interpret and translate for clients at ILS appointments, as need
  • Attend all trainings and conference calls as required by funders or as assigned
  • Create/Assist in creating events and/or make presentations for education and outreach in the QC area, including KYR presentations
  • Attend conferences/events to advertise ILS services; Plan and facilitate workshops
  • Assist with prompt filing and data entry of all correspondence from the government and communicate pertinent information to the appropriate client
  • Comply with all of the WRQC ILS polices in procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required; Ability to learn and use LawLogix database
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Strong administrative experience in an office setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
$19 - $21 an hour
