Job description

Summary:
The Seasonal Videographer Editor is a member of the Curly W Productions team and responsible for contributing to game day content for social media, scoreboard, and broadcast channels as assigned.
The Videographer Editor must be available in-person in Washington, D.C. for the duration of the season through September 2026.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Shoot, edit and deliver high quality video content including but not limited to fan experience, player interviews, game action, and other content features.
  • Edit highlights in real time for social media coverage of game play as assigned.
  • Archive and tag pregame, in-game and postgame video as needed.
  • Serve as crew member/grip and second camera for multi camera video production shoots.

Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
  • Related video experience at college or professional sports highly preferred. Baseball sports industry knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with interchangeable lens cameras.
  • Experience with advanced camera support systems including sliders and gimbals.
  • Experience shooting video in a cinematic style.
  • Experience with professional lighting, grip and audio equipment.
  • Experience with non-linear editing systems (Premiere).
  • Experience with motion graphics programs (After Effects).
  • Experience with graphics programs (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • NOTE: Demo reel is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to organize and adhere to internal workflows so projects are easily shared.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must possess great interpersonal communication skills (oral and written).
  • Must be able to work the extended hours of game days.

Physical/Environmental Requirements
  • Work will require weekend and evening work.

Compensation:
The projected wage rate for this position is $25-$30 per hour. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant's qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
