- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in media arts and production, including areas such as film and video production, documentary and nonfiction storytelling, transmedia storytelling, and other emerging forms of creative media.
- Incorporate innovative approaches to storytelling and media technologies, including audiovisual, interactive, immersive, generative, AI-assisted, mobile, locative, social media, installation, and game-based media, as appropriate to your expertise.
- Contribute to the continued development and evolution of the department's media production curriculum.
- Coordinate instructional staffing for media production courses.
- Provide oversight of the department's media lab and support an engaging learning environment for students and faculty.
- Develop interdisciplinary collaborations across NC State to expand opportunities for creative scholarship and teaching.
