HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

BSN SPORTS is seeking a driven and relationship-oriented University of Texas student to serve as a Campus Sales Ambassador for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role will primarily focus on building relationships within the University of Texas RecSports Department - specifically Club Sports - as well as social student organizations across campus. The ambassador will serve as a key connector between these groups and BSN SPORTS, helping teams and organizations access quality apparel, equipment, and spirit wear solutions.

This paid, part-time opportunity is designed for a student interested in pursuing a career in sales, sports marketing, or the sporting goods industry. The Campus Sales Ambassador will gain hands-on experience supporting local BSN SPORTS Sales Professionals while driving brand awareness and identifying growth opportunities within the UT campus community.

This role provides real-world exposure to consultative selling, grassroots marketing, prospecting, and relationship development in a competitive and team-oriented environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Serve as the primary on-campus liaison to the University of Texas RecSports Department, with a focus on Club Sports program outreach and relationship development.

Build and maintain relationships with Club Sports officers, team captains, RecSports administrators, and social student organization leaders.

Identify apparel, equipment, and spirit wear needs for club teams and student organizations.

Proactively prospect new team and organization opportunities across campus.

Support local BSN SPORTS Sales Professionals in developing and growing Club Sports and student organization accounts.

Assist with product presentations, sample showings, and on-campus meetings.

Help coordinate apparel launches, team stores, and promotional initiatives.

Increase brand visibility across campus through grassroots marketing efforts and relationship networking.

Track outreach activity, pipeline opportunities, and provide regular market feedback to the sales team.

Represent BSN SPORTS professionally and in alignment with Varsity Brands values.

Foundational training in consultative sales and territory development.

Exposure to the team sales model and sporting goods distribution industry.

Experience supporting revenue growth in a defined market.

Professional mentorship from experienced BSN SPORTS Sales Professionals.

Development of leadership, communication, and business acumen skills.

Resume-building experience with the national leader in team sports.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Currently enrolled University of Texas student in good academic standing.
  • Strong interest in sales, marketing, business, sports management, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a 20-hour weekly commitment.
  • Passion for sports and campus involvement strongly preferred.
