A large, physician-led integrated health system in Illinois is excited to welcome a full-time or part-time Urologist to join its growing and well-established urology team. This opportunity is ideal for a general urologist, with strong support available for physicians with subspecialty interests. Particular areas of interest include Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), Robotic Surgery, and Endourology.
The organization is actively expanding its academic mission and is developing a new Urology Residency Program in partnership with a major public medical school. Incoming physicians will have the opportunity to participate in resident education, mentorship, and academic initiatives while maintaining a clinical practice.
Practice Highlights:
* Join a collaborative team of 6 urologists and 8 experienced Advanced Practice Providers
* APPs provide first-call coverage during the day and support on weekends
* Dedicated surgical support, including specialized technicians for robotic and cystoscopic procedures
* 1:6 weekday call schedule with no current weekend call requirements
* General urology call responsibilities shared among all providers
* Robust referral network supported by a large multispecialty physician group and hospitalist team
* Flexible opportunity for physicians interested in academics, clinical research, and program development
* H1b Visas and O-1 Visas can be supported
* This position offers a pathway to American Board of Urology eligibility through academic practice. International Medical Graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note that J-1 visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity
