Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part-Time Faculty assignments in Computer Science. The Department will review applications in this pool as the need arises for new part-time faculty in this area.
This is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a Part-time Faculty Interest Pool, from which the department will identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year. Instructor Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field such as Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Systems Science.

For game development classes, consideration will be given to candidates with:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant subject

  • Two (2) or more years of experience in computer game development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

  • Relevant recent industry or education/teaching experience
