What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
