POSITION: Part-Time Universal School Aide
LOCATION: North Franklin Educational Center - Malone, NY
DESCRIPTION:
  • Performs a variety of general cleaning activities including dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
  • May perform simple clerical duties or record keeping
  • Prepares specific food items, following appropriate standards for food preparation, handling and service, ensuring the temperature, portion of food and timeliness of service
  • Delivers mail and packages as needed
  • Responds to procedures for alarms and alerts including notifying appropriate staff
  • Assists teacher and bus drivers in supervising recreation periods, lunch periods, study halls and transportation of students
  • Keeps grounds free of litter; mows, rakes and cuts grass
  • Removes snow and ice from walks, pathways and steps
  • Oversees students in gymnasiums, locker rooms, swimming pools, cafeteria, playgrounds, buses, and other student access areas as requested

QUALIFICATIONS: Civil Service status as a Universal School Aide
STARTING DATE: ASAP
SALARY: TBD. Based on experience.
