Simple Steps, LLC is searching for a professional and enthusiastic Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) in the Cleveland, TX area to provide Music Therapy services for veterans in need. This is an employee position.
PART-TIME with a potential to increase hours due to Veteran needs!

Simple Steps, LLC is a family owned and operated company that collaborates with various organizations to provide in-home and community programming for wounded veterans. We utilize one-on-one care to foster positive relationships with our clients in order to facilitate their personal success.
Job Description:The Music Therapist provides individualized therapeutic sessions for our veterans. This position includes the following:
  • Assisting clients with cognitive and physical limitations.
  • Facilitating therapeutic music activities to foster client growth.
  • Submit weekly documentation with session observations and client progress.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to foster communication and team unity.

Qualifications and Preferred Criteria
  • MT-BC Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or higher

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Experience working with veterans
  • Experience working with mental health conditions
  • Experience working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

All individuals should have the following:
  • Resume
  • CPR Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only)
  • Social Security Card
  • Driver's License
