Our Personal Trainers do more than count reps—they educate, motivate, build relationships, and create lasting lifestyle changes. The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, sales-minded, and committed to providing an outstanding member experience from the first consultation through long-term success.
Responsibilities
  •  Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and consultations.
  •  Design individualized exercise programs based on each client's goals, experience, and limitations.
  •  Deliver safe, effective, and engaging personal training sessions.
  •  Coach proper exercise technique and movement mechanics.
  •  Track client progress and adjust programming as needed.
  •  Educate clients on exercise, recovery, and healthy lifestyle habits.
  •  Build strong relationships that encourage long-term client retention.
  •  Follow up with prospective and current clients to support accountability and continued progress.
  •  Generate personal training sales through consultations, referrals, floor interactions, and member engagement.
  •  Promote additional UFC Gym programs, specialty coaching, and fitness events.
  •  Maintain detailed client records and session notes.
  •  Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional training environment.
Qualifications
Required
  •  Nationally accredited Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent).
  •  Current CPR/AED Certification.
  •  Strong understanding of exercise science and program design.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
  •  Corrective Exercise or Performance certifications.
  •  Nutrition Coaching Certification.
  •  Strength and Conditioning experience.
  •  Group Fitness Certification.
  •  Experience working with weight loss, muscle building, athletic performance, or rehabilitation clients.
What We're Looking For
The ideal Personal Trainer is:
  •  Passionate about helping others succeed.
  •  Positive, energetic, and highly professional.
  •  Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  •  Comfortable building relationships and asking for the sale.
  •  Organized and dependable.
  •  A continuous learner who stays current with industry best practices.
  •  A team player who contributes to a positive club culture.
Physical Requirements
  •  Demonstrate exercises and movement patterns throughout training sessions.
  •  Lift and move training equipment as needed.
  •  Stand, walk, and coach for extended periods.
  •  Perform moderate to high-intensity physical activity throughout scheduled shifts.

Successful Personal Trainers consistently:
  •  Build and maintain a loyal client base.
  •  Deliver exceptional coaching that produces measurable results.
  •  Exceed monthly training sales and revenue goals.
  •  Maintain high client retention through outstanding service and accountability.
  •  Create an exceptional member experience that reflects the UFC Gym brand.
  •  Inspire members to become stronger, healthier, and more confident.
Compensation & Growth Opportunities
  •  Performance bonuses and incentive opportunities.
  •  Continuing education and professional development.
  •  Opportunities to grow into specialty coaching, small group training, fitness leadership, and management roles.
