Job description

Are you a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or want to become one? We are looking for individual's who want to make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
Bridgeway Agency, LLC is currently seeking energetic, outgoing, and passionate individuals to become part-time or full-time ABA therapists. We are currently hiring in the following locations:
 
  • Gainesville, FL (school based+ Home)
  • Starke, FL (home)
  • Palatka, FL
  • Keystone Heights, FL (home)

Position Requirements

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy at homes, school and community settings.
  • Implement ABA therapy programs and behavior management techniques as directed in the client’s treatment and behavior plan.
  • Demonstrate adequate knowledge and understanding of basic ABA principles and guidelines.
  • Complete data collection for each client as directed.
  • Meet with supervisors and provide feedback about clients.
  • Complete daily session notes and or forms.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working with a variety of clients with different needs and abilities.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of staff members including ABA therapists, BCBA's, and administrative staff.
  • Work collaboratively with each client's team.
  • Maintain strict parent/child confidentiality policies and comply with HIPPA Regulations.
  • Maintain professional relationship with client’s parents/caregivers.
  • Ability to work in an active job that may require periodic lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Attending Company Training's to expand your ABA knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure a positive, safe learning environment for each client.
  • Availability varies on each client, but are able to make your own hours!
Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: 1 year working with children with Disabilities/ASD either in school or a home setting.
  • Education: High school diploma (Required) or G.E.D
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • RBT Preferred (but not required).
  • Medicaid Provider number (Preferred).
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to thrive in fast pace environment and adjust to changes.
  • Transportation: Reliable vehicle/public transportation.
  • Great writing and verbal communication.
  • Willing to have a background check (required) and potential drug testing.
