Therapy and Learning Center of Georgia is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis services to a child in the Cumming, Georgia area.
This is a full-time in-home ABA position with a schedule of approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Exact scheduling may vary based on client needs, family availability, and company scheduling requirements.
Position Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician provides direct Applied Behavior Analysis services by implementing treatment programs and behavior-reduction procedures developed by the supervising clinician. This role requires accurate data collection, timely documentation, ethical conduct, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting client safety, dignity, and progress. Services may be provided in the client’s home, clinic, school, or other approved settings as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Implement individualized skill-acquisition programs and behavior intervention procedures as written by the supervising clinician.
  • Collect accurate behavioral and skill-acquisition data, including frequency, duration, latency, trials, prompting levels, and other required data points.
  • Enter data and complete documentation according to company expectations.
  • Complete daily session notes and required documentation in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and professional boundaries at all times.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, clinical protocols, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision and training.
  • Implement feedback from the supervising clinician in a timely manner.
  • Communicate session progress, barriers to implementation, parent/caregiver concerns, and safety concerns promptly to the supervising clinician and leadership.
  • Use proactive strategies, reinforcement procedures, and approved behavior support techniques to support safe and therapeutic sessions.
  • Provide services in home, clinic, school, or community settings as assigned.
  • Maintain professionalism and appropriate boundaries in all service environments.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician certification in good standing.
  • Ability to pass required background checks and meet onboarding requirements.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned work locations in or near Milton, Georgia.
  • Ability to provide in-home ABA services in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Basic computer skills for electronic data collection and documentation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client, family, and company information.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Reliable, punctual attendance and availability for assigned schedule.

The role may involve implementing crisis-prevention strategies per training (e.g., CPI/MANDT/MCPP) and responding to elopement or other safety concerns consistent with organizational protocols.

Schedule & Travel

Primary schedule is Monday–Friday during clinic hours; exact hours are assigned based on client needs. Occasional in-home or school-based sessions and limited local travel may be required.
