Job description

Under the supervision of the IT Director, The Digital Content Creator is responsible for designing compelling visual and written content across digital and traditional platforms to support brand, marketing, and communication goals. 

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday; 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

JOB FUNCTIONS:

include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Graphic and Digital Design 

  • Design and produce digital assets including graphics, infographics, social media visuals, and email outreach. 
  • Create engaging multimedia content such as videos, animations, and interactive presentations. 
  • Develop and maintain brand consistency across all digital content. 

 2. Digital Strategy & Marketing 

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications Manager and other key individuals to develop content strategies aligned with organizational goals. 
  • Support digital campaigns through platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. 
  • Develop event media and marketing assets (posters, flyers, t-shirts, etc.) to ensure branding alignment. 

 3. Web & Multimedia Production 

  • Assist in managing website content using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress). 
  • Edit and publish video content using tools like Adobe Premiere, Canva, or YouTube Creator Studio. 
  • Contribute to the development of online applications and interactive tools. 

 4. Other duties as assigned to support the efficient operations of the Tribe.  

Requirements

General Requirement:

  • Must be insurable through the Tribe's vehicle insurance required.
  • Must pass a criminal and fingerprint background check according to P.L. 101-630 standards required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening required.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma, equivalent GED or higher required. 
  • Two (2) years' relevant work experience or education required. 
  • Preference given to those with experience working with Native Americans. 

Licensing & Certification:

  • Must possess, maintain, and provide proof of a valid Driver License required

Necessary Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptional flexibility and positive people skills. 
  • Comfortable adapting to feedback and revisions. 
  • Maintain a positive attitude.  
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once. 
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies. 
  • Proven experience in digital content creation and graphic design. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and video editing tools. 
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (such as WordPress); basic HTML/CSS is a plus. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving and creative thinking skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite or similar technology. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to healthcare technology trends. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and community. 
  • Ability to manage and perform with a high degree of autonomy, organization, and adaptability. 
  • Must be able to demonstrate respect for and awareness of Native American customs, traditions, and socioeconomic needs. 
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking with large and small groups of different managerial, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and educational backgrounds. 
  • Must be willing to travel as needed.
